The following documents are available for download. PDF documents can be viewed and printed with software such as Adobe Reader.

• Welcome brochure (PDF): A brochure BASK members have put together to welcome paddlers to the San Francisco Bay Area
• Essential gear list (PDF): List of essential gear to keep you warm and safe
• BASK activity waiver (PDF): Initiators are responsible for bringing this waiver to every activity that does not involve minors (children age 17 or less) and for having all participants sign it before participating.
  Please make sure you have downloaded the latest waiver, revised in June 2023, which contains insurance information. If an incident occurs on a BASK paddle that requires professional medical attention or that results in damage to property of a non-BASK member, the initiator should report the incident to Margot Otway and to the Club officers. They will ask for details as needed and will submit a report to our insurer, Paddlesport Risk Management.

• Safety Talk Checklist (PDF): A handy checklist that an initiator can use for a pre-trip safety talk.
• BASK ICE form (PDF): ICE (In Case of Emergency) form; fill this out and keep it with you when paddling to assist emergency responders in case of accident or illness
